The Present

I have a gift for you. You don’t have to wait for your Birthday or any other special day. You can have this gift right now.

It may not come with beautiful wrapping or a bow but honestly, I think you’ll love it.

It’s the gift of time.

Oh…. you don’t think that’s very exciting? Not what you expected?

In that case, you may want to refer to your list. Not the to-do list, chores list, shopping list or repairs and maintenance list. Nope.

Refer instead to your wish list or bucket list or if-only-I-had-time list. On this list are all the things you might try if you had time.

Read that book, call that friend, make that cake, research that holiday, pamper those toes, listen to that music.

Time is precious. Time is fleeting.

Grab this minute, unwrap it, be excited and use it well.

Isn’t it time you enjoyed the present?

Let’s go.

Just a minute now.

I took my minute to think about you, the times we shared, the fun we had. Little experiences that I remember, those which bring a smile to my face.
I took my minute to send you my love and to let you know I am looking forward to the next time we see each other 😊🍾
