It hasn’t really worked for a while now. You notice it every day. A permanent inclusion on your to-do list.

The light bulb that simply doesn’t turn on, the cupboard that squeaks, the handle that wobbles uncontrollably.

There is a knife that desperately needs sharpening, a pair of leggings with a hole, a picture sitting on the floor waiting to be hung, a cord unravelling, a blind stuck neither up nor down.

Seems the maintenance fairy is on strike or refuses to drop into your place.

So hop to. One minute to identify it. See it, grab it, fix it.

These things will not fix themselves. Some will not fix at all so out with the old and in with the new. We’re cleaning house here, welcoming in the new. Paint a good start.
