SLEEP

You know the saying “you snooze you lose”….In fact, a snooze could make you a winner.

A little shut eye, a sneaky nanna nap, hit the sack early, a long siesta, get forty winks, or a quick snooze can be very rewarding.

Let’s face it; you are “on” all the time. Burning the candle at both ends. Ready to pounce. Ready to put forward another scintillating idea, go the extra mile, push the boundaries, stretch, extend and juggle. All of that can be quite tiring, and many of us are suffering from a profound sleep deprivation. This can impact our health, our happiness and our relationships.

A good sleep can help restore your immune, nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. It can improve your mood, memory, creativity, increase alertness and so much more.

Lots of good upsides so what’s not to love?  It’s the weekend after all. You could feel relaxed, rejuvenated and refreshed … just by having more sleep.

Wouldn’t you like a sleep-in, a few extra z’s, to call it a night or just nod off?

Sleep might just be our most under rated health habit. Put it on the top of your list for a change. Think of it as a horizontal life pause. Getting the right amount of sleep may make all the minutes with our eyes open even better.

Let’s go.

Just a minute now.
