Clean slate

The time has come…It’s come early if you only ever promise yourself a change when making New Year’s Resolutions.

It is time for a fresh approach. Time to wipe the slate clean, start anew, change. Let’s go with the blank canvas to start afresh. Do you prefer black and white or colour?

If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done. Now is the time for new ideas, a new vision.

If there is a change in the wind it is worth remembering that a clean slate may require you to adapt, amend, modify and revise. Are you ready to reshape, revamp and reorganise?

Why wait till next year or even next week? What could you refashion today?

What no longer serves you well? Could you scrub it out today and begin again differently? Perhaps you want to restyle, remake, refine or redo. Evolve?

Imagine a clean slate in your calendar….for a day. What would your ideal day look like? Probably not even a little bit similar to the chaos you endured yesterday. What would you do differently? Where would your focus be? Who would you spend time with? What would give you joy?

Sneak a little clean slate (and blue sky thinking) into your day. Open a blank page, a new tab, a clean slate …. now fill it in.

Let’s go.

Just a minute now.

Ok I’m imagining…lunch with a good friend before Xmas. Am I brave enough to wipe the slate clean?

Filling in only what would give me joy, peace and inner strength.
